1. What technologies are used
Cookies are small text files, and browser storage is a similar way for a website to save information on your device. UK rules also cover other technologies that store or access information on a device.
This site does not intentionally deploy advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural tracking or non-essential analytics by default.
2. Essential browser storage
| Name | Type | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
odx_cookie_consent | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected external map content, so the site can respect your choice. | Until you clear browser data or reset the choice |
This storage is treated as necessary for providing the privacy-preference function you request. The site may also use short-lived technical data required by the hosting or form provider for security, load balancing, fraud prevention and successful submission.
3. Google Maps and external content
The Google Maps frame is blocked initially. It loads only when you:
- accept external content in the privacy banner;
- enable external map content in the preference panel; or
- press the “Load Google Map” button for that visit.
When loaded, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, device/browser details and the page that requested the map, and may use its own cookies or storage under its policies. We do not control Google’s technologies.
4. Content delivery networks
The website uses third-party content delivery networks for fonts, icons and selected photographs. The provider may receive standard connection information, including IP address and browser details, to deliver the requested file and maintain security. These resources are not used by us for behavioural advertising.
5. Managing your choices
You can reopen the preference banner using “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also clear website data through your browser settings. Blocking all browser storage may cause the preference banner to reappear because the site cannot remember the choice.
6. Changes
If analytics, advertising or another non-essential technology is introduced, this policy and the consent controls should be updated before that technology is enabled. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
